The names and email addresses entered in this journal will be used exclusively for the purposes stated herein and will not be made available to any other person or institution for any other purpose.
Collection and Use of Personal Data
In compliance with transparency and editorial management standards, UDA Law Review collects only the personal data necessary to identify the authorship and affiliation of the researchers. Upon publication, the following data will be publicly accessible along with the article:
Full name(s).
Affiliation (without acronym), city, and country.
Institutional email address and ORCID code.
Any other personal data not listed above will be protected by the journal and may not be disclosed or transferred to third parties without the express consent of the individual concerned.
Confidentiality in the Evaluation Process
The journal guarantees anonymity and absolute confidentiality during the peer review process:
Author and Reviewer Identity: Under the double-blind review system, the authors' identities are unknown to the reviewers, and vice versa.
Unpublished Content: External reviewers and members of the Editorial Committee are prohibited from using unpublished manuscripts for personal or professional purposes, as well as from using artificial intelligence tools that could compromise the privacy of the research during the evaluation process.
Security on the OJS Platform
Data management is carried out through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, which allows for secure recording of the editorial workflow. UDA Law Review employs digital preservation systems and regular backups on the technological infrastructure of the University of Azuay to guarantee the integrity and recovery of information in the event of any contingency.
